PARENTING CONFERENCE
Once again this year North Parkersburg Baptist Church will be offering a parenting conference open to all on Saturday,
March 20th. Several classes on a variety of topics will be offered. Pastor will teach one of the classes on "teen
depression." Watch for more details in the Sunday bulletin.

Confirmation Class
All youth in the church currently in sixth grade or up are invited to participate in the special
confirmation class that will begin Sunday, March 21st during the Sunday School time. The class will be
taught by Pastor Gary and will explore our faith and church membership. There will also be some fun
activities outside the class time. Let Pastor Gary or the church office know if you are interested in
being part of the experience.

Teen Depression News
I keep being reminded that God's time is different than my time. O God, give me patience...
Over a year ago I sent our materials about the teen depression ministry to many different places
all over the country. I figured out that if I hadn't heard from one of them by now, the materials
had made their way to the trash. Last week a reporter from KLOVE radio e-mailed me and
asked for an interview. She said they had received my materials and had kept them until it was
the right time to use them (God's time). So...last week I taped an interview on "teen depression"
for KLOVE Contemporary Christian Radio. My interview will be part of a national broadcast
of their "Closer Look" segment. The interview is scheduled for Sunday, March 14th, at 8pm
Eastern Standard Time. Locally, KLOVE is broadcast on FM 91.9. I'm also told the broadcast
will be available as a downloadable/clickable feature on the K-LOVE/Air I Closer Look pages
for the full week up to 3/14.
