CHURCH WIDE FAMILY PICNIC- AUGUST 21, 2008 @ 6:00P.M.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. Bring a covered dish and come
join us. There will be plenty of food, fun, and fellowship.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL ON AUGUST 24TH WITH HOME MADE IDE CREAM. IT
WILL BE HELD RIGHT AFTER CHURCH ON THE 24TH. HOT DOGS AND ICE
CREAM WILL BE PROVIDED.

Disciple Bible Study
New Testament Bible Study
The 8 week New Testament Bible Study will begin on Wednesday, July 2nd, at 7:00p.m. All are
invited. This will be an overview of the entire New Testament. The pastor will teach the class. If
there are those interested, we will offer the course on Thursday mornings at 9:30. Please tell the
pastor if you need a study book and have not already received one.
Recycle your Flower Vases
The Church can get cash for floral vases and baskets. Call Christine Flowers for pick up or leave
them inside the church.
DRAMA TEAM
Drama - the kind we enjoy in worship and other settings. It can be an effective
and meaningful way to communicate the gospel, as well as provide fellowship
and entertainment in settings other than worship. Memorize lines and practice
consistently to help us present quality dramas. Some of the dramas might be
part of worship. Others could even be more ambitious projects, like presenting
a show like, "Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." The sky is the limit.
We also need folks who would be willing to help with backdrops, etc.
